What Is It? : Open studio creative time is an evening set aside for you to work on art projects in the company of other people who appreciate the creative life. Who Can Come? : Anyone who has a project to work on, or who is taking the mini class, and who is willing and able to share and respect others as well as the community space. Do We Need to RSVP? : Yes. Please do let us know if you will be attending Open Studio, a Mini-Class, and/or Potluck, so we can plan space and supplies accordingly. We do send out a weekly email regarding Open Studio, mini-class, potluck theme, etc. Sometimes we update on potluck portions, items via email as well. If you'd like to be included on our weekly Open Studio list, please let us know, and we'll add you. RSVP via email: fish4karma@yahoo.com, or phone: 651-460-0725. What Does it Cost? : We no longer charge $5.00 for Open Studio, but do have a Contributions can by the coffee pot - to help defray utility costs, paper goods, teas, coffee, etc. Any and all contributions are much appreciated.
What Time Does it Start? :
Open Studio is from 4:00 - 9:00 PM on Fridays.
You can come for all or for any part of that time What Time is the Potluck? : Potluck Dinner is from 6-7 pm. This is optional, and sometimes involves a creative dinner theme. Please bring your food prepped, and in a cooler, or crock pot, so all can focus on creative project work, rather than food prep & clean up distractions, before and after dinner. Time flies when you're having fun!What About Beverages? : Coffee & Tea are provided. Not a tea/coffee drinker? Bottled drinks & creativity cravings are available for purchase in & on the gallery fridge. Please help yourself. Pay in the crock on top. Prices range from $.50 - $1.50. You may also choose to bring your own.
Do We Help Clean Up?
: Yes. Wash
your own dishes & wipe down your studio spot before leaving (spray/soap
is under the classroom sink). Please use a table covering for
messy/colored media work, as the majority of our tables are porous.
Freezer paper & tape is available.
